Dear Madam,
Your office advised me to write an email to your address.
The “alleged” rapist is a Catholic priest who was stationed in Faridabad. He sexually molested a girl … till 2014. In December 2015, he raped another girl in a hotel room in Bangalore. The girls are now aged 24 and 22 23. Through a third party, a common friend, the victim-survivors contacted me asking me to help them to bring the rapist to justice using my contacts and my web site http://www.ephesians-511.net.
Meanwhile, hearing of many more complaints against him, the Superiors of the priest sent him to Rome, Italy, where he is now in hiding.
Since almost five months I have been telephoning and writing to the Superiors of the priest, to the Archbishop of Faridabad, to the Apostolic Nuncio to India, to all the confreres of the priest (over 500 of them) and to three Cardinals (highest-ranking officials) of the Catholic Church in India who are directly concerned with the governance of this Congregation of priests. I have records of all my letters to them. The Archbishop and all three Cardinals responded by email assuring action and justice. However, probably under the impression that we can do nothing against their money power and political clout, all of them have now gone silent. I re-emphasize that I made at least 10 telephone calls and wrote almost 600 individual emails to the clergy of the Catholic Church.
Please tell me now who I should approach and what I should do on behalf of a small team that has been assembled, to ensure that the rapist-priest is brought to justice under the law of the land. We intend to make the matter public by the middle of August at the very latest and the Superiors of the priest and the hierarchy of the Church are well aware that we will eventually approach the NCW, the police and the national media.
