Subject: GRAVE CONCERNS ABOUT CARDINAL ELECTORS FROM INDIA [Red: email ids bounced or blocked]

HIS HOLINESS POPE EMERITUS BENEDICT XVI,

Monsignor Georg Gänswein, Personal Secretary to the Pope Emeritus

Your Holiness/Dear Monsignor,

I am a Catholic apologist in full time ministry in India.
I am attaching two documents that will give Rome an overview of the sad spiritual condition of the shepherds of the Indian Church, and thus, the faithful.
The first document

PAPAL CANDIDATE OSWALD CARDINAL GRACIAS ENDORSES YOGA
http://ephesians-511.net/docs/PAPAL_CANDIDATE_OSWALD_CARDINAL_GRACIAS_ENDORSES_YOGA.doc

explains how the Hindu spiritual discipline of yoga meditation, despite the warnings of two Vatican documents, is flourishing in the Church with the endorsement of Oswald Cardinal Gracias and other leading clerics.
The second document

WHY INDIAN CATHOLICS DO NOT WANT AN INDIAN POPE
http://ephesians-511.net/docs/WHY_INDIAN_CATHOLICS_DO_NOT_WANT_AN_INDIAN_POPE.doc

presents a hypothetical picture of what will happen if an Indian Cardinal is elected Pope; but it is not hypothetical as far as India is concerned because all of the individual elements that make up the picture are presently well established to a greater or lesser extent in different dioceses.

Well-informed, orthodox Catholics are few; prophetic and outspoken ones are even fewer, if extant.

Rome and her visiting officials do not get to know the truth — though they have strong suspicions — and the Indian bishops and theologians present them with a false picture and false explanations, allay their fears and get away with whatever it is that they are doing, as at the colloquium held under the CDF’s auspices in Bangalore on January 20, 2011.

The present Apostolic Nuncio as well as his predecessor simply do not respond to letters from the laity even on the most serious of pastoral, doctrinal and liturgical issues.

We are left with no other recourse but to write to Rome, hoping and praying that the Indian Church is saved from the terrible fate that awaits it under the present and immediate future leadership.

Help save from perdition the souls of our children and their children, the future Indian Church, or there will remain only a vestige of it, undistinguishable from the majority religion.

Yours obediently,

Michael Prabhu

Dear Mike,

I do admire your steadfastness in the Ministry. You are like a bull-dog.  Once you get a grip of things, you never let go!

Dear Mr Prabhu

Pope Benedict announced his retirement on 11th Feb. and he retired from the 1st of March.

There were 17 days and the College of Cardinals is going to meet on 4th of March to have the preliminary meeting to decide the date for the election of the new pope

Pope John Paul II died on 2nd April and Pope Benedict was elected on 19th April, which is within 17 days.

Now why the higher ups are delaying the election process, just to delete some records or manipulation?

As you are a crusader I want to ventilate my thoughts.

We will pray for a Pope as expected by our Lord Jesus

Thank you, in the word, Kulandai Raj

I am praying everyday in my daily family Rosary, during every Mass I attend, in my prayer group intercessory prayers and in my personal prayer that the Holy Spirit will guide the present College of Cardinals like he has guided the College of Cardinals throughout the centuries, to elect a Pope who will be after God’s own heart, as King David was a king after God’s own heart when God decided to choose him as first king of Israel. That is the need of the Catholic Church – to have a Pope after God’s own heart.

The Pope selected by God can be of any land (including India) – that is God’s prerogative to choose whom he wills. Once he is a Pope after God’s own heart, God will give him the grace to serve the Church according to His holy will. The promise of Jesus to Peter that the Church built upon him will not have the gates of hell prevailing against her, will guard the Catholic Church and the new Pope.

And UCAN or any other news agency cannot affect the minds of our Cardinals because once they are in the Sistine Chapel, the Holy Spirit will be in control. The Church is a hierarchy and not a democracy that the Cardinals should be influenced by the votes of the people. Our Cardinals will not be influenced by popular choices of the Catholics or any others in the world. They will be influenced only by the Holy Spirit of God.

Popes throughout the centuries have been conservative. If God allows a Pope to be a person who is non-conservative (who will allow same sex-marriages to happen in the Catholic Church for e.g.), then it means that we are in the end days and that Pope may turn out to be the False Prophet of Book of Revelation. In that case I believe that Jesus, The Chief Shepherd, will administer his Church on earth from heaven and will protect her in ways known only to Him. Otherwise God will never allow a liberal Pope to be elected which would bring in abominations into the Catholic Church which has been right on mark till now – not because of her own strength and wisdom but because of the wisdom of the Holy Spirit guiding her as Christ’s bride. Yes there are problems in the Catholic Church today, but that is because, besides being the spiritual bride of Christ, she is also human. But Christ’s protection upon her will prevail just like Christ’s protection upon Peter, the first Pope, prevailed inspite of his own human weaknesses.

I discern that I should not forward your email to anyone. Reason: I don’t want to influence the minds of the Catholics in any way. Let them pray to God with an open mind guided by the Holy Spirit alone and then let God’s will be done. If the Catholics are influenced by agencies like UCAN and make wrong prayers then God will anyway not listen to their prayers since their prayers would not be in line with His holy will. If UCAN thinks that it can influence our Cardinals electing the Pope, they are living in a fool’s paradise and not knowing at all the power of the Holy Spirit. They do not know that the Catholic Church is the body of Christ and Christ will not allow the leaders of his body to make a wrong decision in this matter of grave importance. And if he allows then as I said, we are in the end times and should only look forward to the coming of Christ to save the Church from the clutches of the evil one.

In summary: Whatever is the outcome of the Papal election, I believe God is in control, and whatever happens will not happen without God allowing it to happen. So either way we rest assured in the Lord. AF, Intercessor

While I respect your decision not to forward my letter with the links, it presumes that either most or all Catholics have the same wisdom and knowledge of Church affairs as you or I have, or that Catholics are not influenced by the media [what they see, hear and read]. By those presumptions, it would be therefore correct if I did not concern myself about the state of the Indian Church or research or write. But people ARE influenced. And it is the liberally lobby that is all-present. Virtually no Church media — even charismatic magazines and retreat centers — presents to Catholics the conservative/orthodox side or the truth about most issues. That is one of the reasons for my ministry. At least through my work a few Catholics will know what exactly to pray for and against.

Did even one Bombay Catholic, charismatic or otherwise, question the indulgence of Vassula Ryden by the archdiocese? or the endorsement of yoga by Cardinal Oswald Gracias who is a candidate for Pope? Who has revealed the truth about the resignation of Allahabad Bishop Isidore Fernandes excepting this ministry? And so on. What does it all reveal about Catholic awareness?

Rome would not have ousted Bp. Isidore in 30 days if someone from India had not informed someone there!

BISHOP OF ALLAHABAD CONSECRATES AND INSTALLS PROTESTANT BISHOP

http://ephesians-511.net/docs/BISHOP_OF_ALLAHABAD_CONSECRATES_AND_INSTALLS_PROTESTANT_BISHOP.doc

So, my perspective is different. From my 30 years of charismatic renewal I know that the vast majority of Catholics would say they would pray, but otherwise DO nothing. The praying/intercession part is essential. But, it is the back-up for those out there on the battlefield. The prophets of old would speak in public places — they had no other media. The last two Popes have urged us to use the media to counter error and misinformation. The only few prophets now are LAY ministries like LifeSiteNews in the West and a few priest-bloggers. While I find the US bishops are the most prophetic, I have several good Indian bishops on my side writing i private, but not a one of them will speak out prophetically. My spiritual director and I discern that I am called to stand in the gap.

Otherwise, if you read my articles again, especially Habemus Papam Indianum, you will find that I have agreed with you and have echoed ALL your sentiments.

While you’re at it, you might read [you’re the first to get it]:

CARDINAL OSWALD GRACIAS ENDORSES YOGA FOR CATHOLICS

Don’t get me wrong. I am not saying that your ministry is not important and that you are not doing wonderful work of enlightening the Catholics of various errors that have crept into the Catholic Church. Indeed you are doing great work for the Lord as his watchman. If the Catholic majority was going to decide the New Pope then I would definitely have complied with your request of forwarding your email and links. But since it is only the College of Cardinals that decides this matter, my forwarding your email to others does not make any sense to me. It would make more sense if you send your email directly to the Cardinals of the College of Cardinals. Probably if they have access to emails before they lock themselves into the Sistine Chapel then your writings may be able to influence their decision for the better. But I think it is too late now.

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES GOD IS FULLY IN CONTROL. MAY HIS WILL BE DONE.

I read and appreciate your one-man crusade against the evil transgressions sneaked through and prevailing in the Church higher-ups which cannot be addressed by those whose eyes and ears are turned blind, It is painful for all of us but it is the revelation of the time we are in. My full intercessory support has been with the Metamorphose Ministry as always.

Your imagination of an Indian Pope is nothing but a reflection of what is happening around us.

As you might be aware, I have re-located in Kerala [from Delhi] and now witnessing a lot of new things in my life. Without a chanda melam or a shinkari melam, (people who plays never wear any upper garments on their chest, showing their bare chest and chains with lockets of some deities, drumming chenda and other musical instruments in front of the procession and in some cases in front of the exposed Holy Eucharist and relics of the Saints) no feast is celebrated in Kerala.

Forget about the wastage of showing off like very expensive, competitive fire-works, lavish illuminations in and around the Church premises.

Leave aside the excessive usage of nilavilakku and other devilish symbols in the sacred altar in the name of accepting others’ feelings. In my childhood, we had to kneel down and we used to do it while the Priest says the consecrated prayers. Now-a-days, no person (including catechism teachers) does it or teaches their children to even kneel down or bow down in front of the altar. Let all of us be on our feet, stand erect tall. Everything is changing minute by minute.  […]

Our Father in Heaven, Thy will be done always, Let the Holy Spirit take full control of the Conclave. Intercessor, Cochin

Thanks Michael for your untiring effort. We prayed at the last night vigil that the next Pope would be after God’s own heart and uphold the true teachings of the Church. We pray for all that you are doing to expose the enemy. There were 20 nuns, who came for the first time and I kept expressing how we need to stand behind the magisterium of the church.

God Bless you and the fly. Intercessor
